The OKC Midtown Rotary Spelling Bee/Beer Tasting fundraiser everyone loves is back! Bigger, better and now on Western Avenue! For the cost of your ticket you get authentic German food from Will Rogers Theater and entrance into the Spelling Bee with a grand prize of $500! Several local breweries will be on hand to provide a variety of beer tastings. Don’t worry, you don’t HAVE to enter the Bee, you can just eat and drink and laugh at your friends trying to spell. We will have a great silent auction available for your bids on local art, crafts, gift baskets, and more! Will Rogers Theater will also have a cash bar available if beer is not enough.
The Spelling Bee portion of the event will be hosted by local comedian Spencer Hicks. Doors open at 6 p.m., spelling starts promptly at 7 p.m.! Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the door. Online ticket sales will close at 12 NOON on Friday, February 24.
All proceeds will go to help Midtown Rotary continue to serve the local and international community.
Must be 21 to enter.
